Blessington Hall Bridge to Musselboro Rd Bridge
Distance: 12.0 km.
Average Grade: 0.5 m/km.
Peak Grade: 0.5 m/km.
Difficulty: Grade 1.
Paddling Time: 1-2 hours.
Entry Point: At the bridge 200 m down from the Upper Blessington Hall.
Exit Point: At the Musselboro bridge 9 km east of Upper Blessington where the river enters a willow infested gorge.
Water Level: Above 0.6 m at Corra Linn is sufficient.
Tasmap: 1:100 000 South Esk, St. Patricks.
Shuttle: 
General Description: The river comprises shingle rapids and continual turns within erroded banks through a broad farmed plain. This section of river is used in the Tamar Canoe Club's annual Ben Lomond Descent multi-sport race. Dangers on this section include willows, logs and sometimes electric fences! Ensure you get out before the bridge since there is a willow infested grade 3-4 rapid immediately below the bridge.
