Entry Point: At Longford just below the new highway bridge, on Illawarra Road (B52) (approximately Grid ref. 8314 102 967).
Exit Point: At the picnic ground on the right 300 m after the Bass Highway Bridge. (Grid ref. 8314 047 045.)
Water Level: Any level. Flood level not recommended.

Shuttle: 
General Description: Shortly after the start there is a small weir. This is washed out at high cliff levels and can be very shallow at lower levels. It is generally safe to paddle and can be portaged easily if necessary. Below the weir, there is a stretch of moving water where trees may prove troublesome for inexperienced paddlers. Caution is advised. There is a low farmers bridge further down (Grid ref. 8314 071 015) which should be portaged. The remaining 3 km consists of small waves and flat water.
